Dolphin Encounters offers four unique programs, the Dolphin Swim, Dolphin Encounter, Sea Lion Encounter and the Observer Program.

All programs start with a 20-minute journey though Nassau’s historic and scenic harbour to beautiful Blue Lagoon Island, home of Dolphin Encounters and the stars of Universal’s Flipper movie.

Once on Blue Lagoon Island, all program begin with a fun orientation, briefly covering the natural history of the animals, animal training techniques, ocean conservation and Watch able Wildlife Guidelines. Then you split up into your personal program and have the time of you life.

Our professional photo & video staff will be capturing your experiences on film so that you will have a chance to take home incredible souvenirs of your unforgettable experience.

Dolphin Swim
Once in your life jacket, experience the joy of a dolphin kiss and fall in love with their gentleness as you hug a dolphin in your arms. Dance and sing with our stars then marvel at the dolphin's strength as you are propelled across the lagoon in the finale behavior --- the foot push!
Dolphin Encounter
In the Dolphin Encounter Program, each guest can expect a unique experience that brings you closer to an Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin than you ever dreamed possible! On the Dolphin Encounter float, you will stand on a waist-deep submerged platform and experience a heart-warming kiss, a hug, a dance and opportunities to rub down the dolphin.

Sea Lion Encounter
For the first time in The Bahamas, Dolphin Encounters is pleased to offer a thrilling Encounter with California Sea Lions. One of the few programs of this kind in the world, it will be a unique adventure you will never forget! You will kiss, hug, feed and play with these affectionate and humorous marine mammals.

Program Observer
Enjoy viewing native Bahamian Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions in their all natural habitat - without getting wet! As an observer, watch a friend or family member as they come "face to fins" with dolphins in our amazing Dolphin Encounter or Dolphin Swim program. Enjoy the up-close and personal view of these gentle marine mammals from a nearby platform - as you remain high and dry.
*Pre-payment is required for observers if there are other members of your party in the encounter or swim programs*
